Bookmark this page... You're going to eventually need it
I don't know about you, but I run so many installations of WordPress, sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the logins. Sure, I have a good password manager, but sometimes things get mixed up and I find myself needing a password reset. Unfortunately, I not always remember what admin email I used at signup (I know that's terrible).
Reset WordPress Password In phpMyAdmin
Anyways, I figured out a very easy way to reset your wp-admin password as long as you have access to phpMyAdmin. All Webfoundr customers can find this inside of cPanel -> PHP My Admin.
How To Reset Your WordPress Admin Password
1. Login to cPanel
2. Click on phpMyAdmin
3. Select your database on the left
4. Click your users table
5. Click edit beside the admin user
6. Change the Function of user_pass to MD5
7. Enter your password in the field
8. Click Go
Go back to your WordPress admin and make sure your information is secure!
